Awesome Spike is absolutely a god in my book. Spike blew Angel away in every way and Illyria comin into the picture is cool as *beep* She is a formadable foe and made one hell of a kick ass villian before being stoped. In the end though she came through and I can deffinetly see her in a movie with Spike. Willow being brought into the movie would certainly be interesting but Iam game. Willow kicked ass season 5 of buffy and was the coolest foe i’ve seen yet powerful and hot and well after seeing the first three seasons of buffy she needed serious change and well got it. Got hooked on magic and blew up cool *beep* Willow, Spike, and Illyria ingredient

Basically what happens is it takes place in Sunnydale and Buffy is fighting the vamps slaying the demons and being awsome Angel is doing the same thing in Los Angeles eventually a huge demon comes and they have to take it down together but it becomes too much for them so who comes in to save the day? Malcom Reynolds and Serenity WITH Wash and they help slay the demon and then Malcom turns to the Buffy crew saying they need there help in bringing down the Alliance

      Yeah I said it.

Joss is keeping this script hidden from everyone, even his family, his niece is in my class and i asked her whats going on with the script and she told me he just keeps being hidden away writing not telling anoyone about it, not even his wife or kids. So most likely all the rumors of scripts you hear are flase unlesss he may have released a small plot.

Its funny how many famous people you are connected to, through that girl in my class ii met whedon at his family premiere on Cape cod, and walt disney’s great (another great?) grandaughter is in my science class

Maybe it’s a bug, but I just clicked the tenth star, and it told me my vote was counted. cool! If four other people try this, we can discover if it’s a bug, and invite all the buffy fans along, get the voting off to a great pre-production start!

      Copied from http://www.gonersmovie.com/

Goners is a film that brewed in me for a few years, and then after I finished filming Serenity, I just up and wrote it, because I’ve been waiting to for so long. It’s a supernatural thriller.

There’s not much I’m gonna say about it, because I have no idea when it’ll happen, and every piece of information will get chewed over so thoroughly that I’m afraid if I talk about it at all, by the time the movie actually comes out people will be tired of it.

It’s about a girl named Mia – people know that – who sort of sees in a mystical way the underbelly of the city and of human society, and goes through a kind of extraordinary hell, and we all have a lot of fun in the process.

It’s very much the kind of fiction that I tell. That is to say, I love this character and I’ve been seeing a lot of horror movies that are torture-porn, where kids we don’t care about are mutilated for hours, and I just cannot abide them.

This is much more a story about — literally about human connection and whether or not it’s possible.

But it’s told on a very mystical scale and, in a way like everything I’ve tried to do including Buffy, it’s an antidote to that very kind of film, the horror movie with the expendable human beings in it. Because I don’t believe any human beings are.

Ok, we’ve known about this movie for a long time, but the plot is in peaces and even though it says to be a 2007 movie. Meaning it will be released in theaters before 2007 is over, theres no clues that the productian has even startet. I know that whedon was planning to do wonder women (thank god that *beep* wasn’t made), but now that his only movie project is goners I have to wonder if this movie ever will be made.

I mean, don’t get me wrong, I LOVE Joss Whedon and all of his stuff… but this movie doesn’t even exist yet, save for in Joss’ mind. I’m also VERY excited at the prospect of another Joss project, but a lot of you people are grasping at straws. Straws that aren’t even there. Let’s say we all wait for a trailer to pop up at least, shall we?

I’m not saying you can’t be excited, by all means, run down the street naked shouting Buffy quotes. But typing the same things over and over is not going to make the movie come any faster.

Or make it a Spike/Illyria movie.

Ok, I know he works alot on he’s comic books but who the hell gives a crap about them. He’s a brilliant writer/director and he should just stick to it or go back to television. Honestly I have been waiting on this flick since Serenity and now that he has turned down the doomed project Wonder Woman he should just turn to this and make it cause it really has a chance to be great.

The newest info we have is over 10 months old… doesn’t anyone know anything? Fifty unsubstantiated rumor-sites on the Intarweb, and no one knows ANYTHING? I’m very disappointed in you, internet. Very, very disappointed.

It’s not like Joss is resting on his laurels… and not like he’s never had a box office hit (he essentially wrote "Speed," trademark dialogue and all). Can we get busy already?

      I’m-a pout at you.

*This is NOT a hate post * I repeat * This is NOT a hate post*

I love Joss Whedon and all of his creations, but the closest thing to creating a series or movie around a guy is Firefly. Mal was ultimately the main character, even though it was Joss’s design to center the series around River. Angel does not count because it was a spin off of Buffy. He was interested in writing and directing Wonder Woman because it is about a strong female character. His newest creation, Goners, is going to be based around a female character. So my question is, do you think he will ever create a series or movie, specifically about a guy?

Beneath this mask there is more than flesh. There is an idea, and ideas are bulletproof.

Does anyone know when they’ll begin making this movie? I’ve heard it was rumored that as soon as Joss finished Wonder Woman that he’d start making this film. But he was taken of Wonder Woman which is a shame and he still hasnt begun work on it or so I’ve heard.

I may be totally wrong here, but cut me some slack because they haven’t released much info.

From what I’ve heard, the movie is about a girl named Mia, and the only two taglines I’ve seen are "Will you notice her?" and "Do you see her?".

I doubt it’s completly the same plot or the same idea, but do you think it might be similar to the Buffy episode "Out of Sight, Out of Mind"?

For those not well versed, this was the episode where a girl feels so ignored and unpopular, she literally disappears, becoming invisible. She tries to get revenge on the people who isolated her, but is of course foiled by Buffy and sent to a government facility that trains invisible assasins.

It probably has nothing to do with Marcie, but does anyone think it might be similar in concept?

IT`S FINAL: THER´S GONNA BE A SPIKE MOVIE

atlest if you belive Amy Acker (Illyria) in her resent intervies with E online

"Joss Whedon has spoken with her about resurrecting her role as Illyria. "He has mentioned it a couple of times," she told me. "I mean, the last time, I talked to him a couple weeks ago and said that I had heard that Tim Minear was gonna write and direct the Spike movie, the Spike-Illyria movie, so he said that they want to do that still. I think he’s just overwhelmed a bit right now with the press for Serenity and everything!"

Everyone can’t shut up about the Spike Movie which will doubtfully and Wonder Woman which is by far the worst choice Whedon has made career, and we’ve got an original film from him, which is the best possible thing we can get from Whedon, and I haven’t even heard it mentioned in a single interview with Whedon. What the hell’s going on?

….it will involve a cute, scrawny teenage girl who can totally break the can of whoop-ass out. Then there’ll be a big hulking quiet guy (who also kicks ass) and doesn’t say much, but when he does, it’s really funny. And then there’ll probably be a nerdy unassuming guy who’s really sardonic and self-deprecating that everyone loves.
