If you enjoyed this movie help us take new ones on screen!

So far there have been made four movies and the studios involved do not plan on making any more. If you would like to see new films based on Stevenson’s novels, help us here:

Pay close attention to the scene in the stairwell of Tim’s office, where Don and Tim go to talk after Tim found out that Andrew kissed Don. Don calls Tim "Don."

I was expecting a mediocre TV movie, but was surprised to be entertained. Good story, mostly good cast: Allen, Kidder, and Rose definitely stand out, and the First Wave guy wasn’t bad either. I truly sympathized and liked the homosexual characters. I especially liked when the girls at the office where peeping and laughing along with the Allen and the First Wave guy in the stairwell having an intimate moment. We could use a lot more of that tolerant in this world — be it sexuality or race, et cetera.

My gf usually falls asleep later in the evening, and I usually stop the movie to continue the next day, but this story kept me watching without her. She’ll have to watch it on her own in the future.

So the movie has got homosexuality, conspiracy, mystery, romance, bigotry, family, and action themes all rolled into one — surprisingly working to nice entertainment value.

Just thought I’d let the ‘loyal following’ of the Donald Strachey mysteries know that Dick Lipez (the real name of Richard Stevenson, author of the series) will be interviewed on Homo Radio thsi Sunday, Sept. 14th, at 12:30PM. Homo Radio is broadcast over WRPI, 91.5FM out of Troy, NY, and is simulcast over the internet.

I’m a DJ with the station, and will be doing the interview along with Ray Werking. Dick is one heck of a guy, and I can guarantee that the interview will be fun AND informative!
