Really. I like Pooh’s adventures by Walt Disney but since they introduced Roo and his mom, I’ve always wanted to skip the scenes with these two. They are so boring and they spoil the original cool atmosphere of the cartoon series. I hope Rabbit could drive them away from the Acre Wood in one episode to save us from seeing the righteous Kanga and her tedious jumping Roo (who is a junky character if compared to the jumping Tigger we cannot live without).

But perhaps Roo and Kanga are great characters for some kids’ taste? What do you think?

Viewers who have watched the movie, what do you suggest is the most Alarming Scene to have your heart beat out like crazy! My opition was when Pooh Bear (Been the Loving, Devoted, Caring Friend, he is in front of Everyone that we know) Dangerously risks his life to get back Piglet’s Scrapbook from a Fallen,Broken Rotten down Tree across a waterfall, then he becomes in Trouble as Piglet tries to save Him and as Everybody watches in Horror as the Tree falls down the waterfall! That had my Heart pounding like crazy from that Scene! My Heart sucked into my soul with Horror and Dismay as I Personailty thoughted when I first watched it that our own Pooh Bear and Piglet had Perished/Died/Gone left us forever. But was that to be so? when they amazed and suprised the Audience by climbing back up the Hills and making their Friends happy once again by seeing them. Besides, they are too popular to go away anyway.:)

    Hey!

Anyone have a bad obsession over piglet? Do you not think he is the best thing to come out of 100 acre wood?????? It was a damn good day when this film was decided to be made!

    Long live the pink one!!

Hey, I’m 24 and I was studying film at university. Now I work as a nanny so I’ve seen this movie lots of times with the girl I look after. It is childish, but I like it anyway, but there’s one brilliant quote a former film student like me should admire! It’s when Kanga says she’s not going to cook Piglet, only to give him a bath, and then he cries "Cook me instead!". Priceless.

So I was watching the movie today, and I never noticed such a funny thing before. Right after they switch out Piglet and Roo, at 21 minutes, 35 seconds (my computer shows the time), there is a fish in the tree close to Kanga’s house. I’m guessing this was a little joke because Pooh was distracting Kanga a few seconds ago by asking her if there was a fish in the tree. Anyways, anyone ever catch that? It really shocked me and make me laugh.

In 2011, the first hand-drawn Winnie the Pooh movie in six years will be released. The movie is being produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios. This marks the first time in more than 35 years that a Winnie the Pooh motion picture is being produced at Walt Disney Animation Studios. Under the supervision of John Lasseter and producer, Clark Spencer ("Lilo & Stitch," "Bolt") the movie is due out in theaters spring 2011. Steve Anderson ("Meet the Robinsons") and Don Hall (head of story on "The Princess and The Frog") will co-direct. Burny Mattinson who worked as an animator on the original Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree featurette in 1964 will serve as the lead story artist on the project.

In 2005, Lumpy the Heffalump melted our hearts when he busted onto the screen in "Pooh’s Heffalump Movie." His exuberance, loyalty, and silliness were the essence of an innocent childhood. Fans of the purple Heffalump, Heffridge Trumpler Brompet Heffalump the Fourth, need to join together to ensure Lumpy is in the film. It is possible that Disney will make this new Pooh film a direct sequel to the original, which would cut Lumpy out. If you’re a fan of this heartwarming, purple Heffalump please express it by signing the petition and letting Disney know that Lumpy should be in the 2011 Winnie the Pooh sequel!

    Please sign my petition!

Then pass this along to all other Pooh and Lumpy fans you know of, as well as posting it at any related Disney news site, blog, or forum!

‘NOVELTY pig calendars and toys have been banned from a council office — in case they offend Muslim staff.

Workers in the benefits department at Dudley Council, West Midlands, were told to remove or cover up all pig-related items, including toys, porcelain figures, calendars and even a tissue box featuring Winnie the Pooh and Piglet.

Bosses acted after a Muslim complained about pig-shaped stress relievers delivered to the council in the run-up to the Islamic festival of Ramadan.

Muslims are barred from eating pork in the Koran and consider pigs unclean.

Councillor Mahbubur Rahman, a practising Muslim, backed the ban. He said: “It’s a tolerance of people’s beliefs.”’

"There must be some kind of way out of here,"

Said the Piglet to the Pooh.

    "There’s too much confusion,

I think I’ll hang out with Roo." …

Come on, an all Hendrix sountrack tops Carly Simon anyday.

Piglet is a movie legend. If our pink vertically challenged friend doesnt walk away with a best actor oscar in March then im personally going to complain in the strongest possible sense to the head honcho in Hollywood. This Pig has got guts and people all over the world should bow at his trotters. He may be small but he’s got it where it counts.

Its ok kids, daddy is telling the nasty Misters off for making references to rude love.

I think Piglet is a movie icon.I think in years to come this film will be celebrated and revered in the same way Star Wars is now.I firmly believe that this film carries an important message for children and i urge all you parents out there to stop what you are doing, grab your kids and take them down to the local multi-plex for a dose of Piglets Big Movie. They will have a rocking fantastic time and you will find yourself singing Carly Simons catchy ditty’s well in to the your evening.I say hats off to all who were brave enough to bring us Piglets Big Movie,he is,in my eyes a role model for the vertically challenged. He tells us that size doesnt matter and even though you might be small as long as your heart and courage are big then you can overcome any obstacle that may be put in your way by this hard and treacherous life that we all have to toil our way through.Together Piglet and his friends truimph once more and ride off happily in to the sunset of the Hundred Acre Wood knowing that they have touched and changed our lives for the better.I love you Piglet and i hope that one day we can meet and that you can tell me of all yur adventures and maybe we can draw a new page in your wonderful book of memories about our day together.God bless Piglet and may he live forevermore.

I just went to see this film with my girlfriend and i have to say that i really enjoyed it.I gave it an 8 rating because i thought to myself that as a kid i would have loved the film.Carly Simons songs are cute and the piglet himself is undeniably cute. The length of the film is just right too, kids would start to become irratable if it laset much longer but on the whole its really well done and it has a nice message in it too.
